- Why ‘Twoja Stara Perfumiara’? Hi! My name is Kaja, though many know me as Twoja Stara Perfumiara. My journey with fragrances began long before I entered the world of social media.
- Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by the world of scents – from sneaking my mom’s perfume bottles, to marveling at the fragrances found in nature, to creating a makeshift ‘collection’ of deodorants and cheaper perfumes. At the same time, social media has been my passion since it became a permanent part of our phones and computers. Back in university, I loved sharing my discoveries, thoughts, and favorite things related to Chinese culture on YouTube and Instagram. After my not-so-glorious escape from China at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, with more time on my hands, I began to merge two worlds – the world of perfumes that had fascinated me for years and social media, which gave me the space to tell stories in an accessible and authentic way.
- This is how Twoja Stara Perfumiara was born – a place where I can be myself, share my scent discoveries, and subtly infuse my personality and way of being into everything. My journey in social media is not just work, but primarily a way of expressing myself and connecting with others who share a similar passion.”
